HP’s Letter to DePauw University in Response to Conflict Minerals Inquiry (Hewlett-Packard)

Hewlett Packard (HP) acknowledges receipt of your letter request on April 9, 2012 regarding concern for “Conflict Minerals”. HP has modified our Supplier Social and Environmental Responsibility Policy to include conflict-free minerals and modified our General Specification for the Environment. Additionally, HP has requested our suppliers to use the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template to respond to HP with the smelters in their supply chain. We anticipate it will take time for this information to be conveyed through the supply chain.
